This looks like a full script. To keep every word exactly as written, switch to 'I have a script'. In 'Write it for me' the writer condenses it to the chosen length.
The subscription price for occasional use, the time it takes to build each scene, and the look: VideoScribe's image library and hand cursor are instantly recognisable, which is a problem if you want your videos to look like yours.
A large image library, a mature timeline, camera moves, and years of tutorials. It has also added AI tools: image generation, script generation and voiceover generation. They are metered rather than unlimited, roughly five to a hundred images a month and seventy-five to a hundred and fifty minutes of voiceover depending on the plan, and the lowest paid tier has no AI voiceover at all. If you produce many videos in one visual vocabulary and want total control, it remains a solid tool.
The AI tools generate parts, not the video. You still place every scene, time it and camera-move it by hand, and you still align the narration to the drawing yourself. A three-minute video is a working day, and once the monthly AI quota runs out you are back to the stock library.
You start from the script. Each board is illustrated for its sentences, the narration is synthesised with word-level timestamps, and the drawing is timed to them automatically. A three-minute video takes a few minutes and the pictures are about the subject.

Switch if the bottleneck is making the pictures and timing them. Stay if you rely on camera moves and a specific image library, or you produce videos in a house style that the library already matches.
