Vyond is a character-animation studio with a business price tag. StrokeVideo draws your script, and the first video each day is free.
MP3, M4A or WAV. Your voice is used exactly as recorded, and each drawing starts when you say it. Free: recordings up to 30 seconds. Upgrade to a membership for videos up to 15 minutes.
Look rules apply to every board. Production notes are read by both the script writer and the storyboarder. Short and absolute works best: 80-300 characters.
Save a character once and every video you pick them for draws them the same way. Tick the ones this video uses.
A one-minute video takes a few minutes to render.
This looks like a full script. To keep every word exactly as written, switch to 'I have a script'. In 'Write it for me' the writer condenses it to the chosen length.

One quick question while this renders — how did you find us?
How did this video turn out?
Here is the narration we will read aloud. Edit anything you like, then start the drawing.
Your text was a brief, so we wrote the narration for you. Please check it before the drawing starts.
This is what we heard in your recording. Fix any misheard words, names or spelling, then start the drawing. Please don't rewrite sentences: the drawing follows your voice word by word.
Mostly price and access. Vyond has no free plan: the entry tier is $58 a month billed yearly, or $99 paid month to month. The free trial caps you at three videos, puts a watermark on them and does not allow downloads at all, so you cannot finish a real video without subscribing. For a teacher, a solo creator or a small team that needs a few explainers, that is a lot to pay for the look they want.
Corporate character animation. It has deep libraries of characters, props and scenes in several styles, lip-synced dialogue, screen recording, and it can now turn a script, a document or a URL into a draft video. For HR, compliance and training teams that produce animated scenarios with people talking to each other, it is a serious studio.
In Vyond, whiteboard is a style of asset: black-and-white characters and props from the library, placed into scenes. Nothing is drawn for your particular sentence. If your script is about how a heat pump works, you get the nearest library items, not a drawing of a heat pump appearing line by line.
You paste the script, or type a topic and let the writer draft it. One board is illustrated for each sentence, the ink is traced stroke by stroke, and the narration is timed to the drawing word by word, in 14 languages. You download an MP4 with no watermark, and it all runs in a browser, including on a phone.
Pictures: library characters and props versus an illustration generated for each sentence. Getting started: subscription required to download versus a free video every day. Script: a draft you then edit scene by scene versus paste and render. Watermark: on every Vyond trial video, never on StrokeVideo. Time: hours in a timeline editor versus minutes unattended.
Switch if you explain ideas, processes or lessons from a written script and want them drawn, without a yearly contract. Stay with Vyond if you need animated characters who walk, talk and act out workplace scenarios, brand-locked templates and team seats.
Paste the script into the generator above with 'I have a script', pick a voice and a style, and render. The first video each day is free.
