Aaj hum Class 11 Business Studies ke Chapter 1, Nature and Purpose of Business mein in basic concepts ko simple examples ke saath samjhenge. SCENE 2 — ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES Sabse pehle samajhte hain Economic Activities. Economic activities woh activities hain jo livelihood ya income earn karne ke purpose se ki jaati hain. Jaise ek teacher school mein padhata hai, ek doctor patients ko treat karta hai, aur ek shopkeeper customers ko goods sell karta hai. In sab activities ka purpose income earn karna hai. Economic activities ko mainly teen categories mein samjha ja sakta hai — Business, Profession aur Employment. SCENE 3 — BUSINESS KYA HAI? Business ek economic activity hai. Ismein goods aur services ka production, purchase, sale ya exchange regular basis par kiya jaata hai, generally profit earn karne ke objective ke saath. For example, ek grocery shopkeeper regularly customers ko goods sell karta hai. Ek manufacturer products produce karta hai aur unhe market mein sell karta hai. Yahan ek important word hai — REGULAR. Agar aap apni purani bicycle ek baar sell kar dete hain, toh ise normally business nahi kaha jaayega. Lekin agar aap regularly goods purchase aur sell karte hain, toh ye business activity ho sakti hai. SCENE 4 — BUSINESS KI BASIC FEATURES Business ki kuch basic characteristics hain. Sabse pehli — Business ek economic activity hai. Doosri — Ismein goods ya services ka production ya procurement hota hai. Teesri — Goods aur services ki sale ya exchange hoti hai. Chauthi — Dealings regular basis par hoti hain. Aur paanchvi — Business mein profit earn karne ka objective hota hai. Lekin yaad rakhiye — profit guaranteed nahi hota.
